Put your business on the map

This directory is a record of workshops, kitchens, mills, forges and storefronts in American towns, written up one at a time. Adding yours takes a name, a town and a few lines about the work.

  • A place on the map

Your shop sits where it actually stands, pinned to your street or drawn as a soft radius over your town if you would rather not print the address.

  • Your hours, plainly

Opening hours, a phone number and a website, laid out the same way for every listing so nobody has to hunt for them.

  • Your own words

A short statement about the work: the building, the materials, and how long the two of you have been at it. Nobody rewrites it for you.

VerifiedSome listings carry a verified mark. It appears beside the name in search results and at the top of the listing page.

The form itself

Everything starred is needed; the rest can be filled in later. Your listing does not appear straight away — a moderator reads it first, and you’ll hear from us either way.
